Micheal Ahn

Mike first got involved in fitness as a child when his parents enrolled him in martial arts classes to keep his tendency to cause trouble to a minimum. He began to take training more seriously in college where he discovered Brazilian Jiujitsu and MMA. After graduating Rutgers he moved to Korea to train with Korean Top Team where he began a short but active fighting career before injuries forced him to retire. He stayed with the team as a sparring partner and found a job as a jiujitsu and fitness instructor. He soon fell in love with the teaching aspect of fitness and martial arts and ran a successful program in the center of Seoul. Moving back to the Philadelphia area to be closer to family he joined up with the Daniel Gracie gym and teaches kickboxing in New Jersey. He is still a student of the game and has trained all over the world to try and add things to his program.

Coach Bob joined us over 4 years ago when he walked into the gym "looking to learn something new." He quickly became one of our most dedicated students, competing in multiple amatuer Muay Thai events. He then began assisting Kru Dave in our Junior Muay Thai program in 2021. In 2022, He began teaching our kids classes. Coach Bob is a great asset to the team.
